Teen Town Hall: On the Bench
Looking for something to do on a Tuesday night?
Council Member Corless is hosting a Teen Town Hall: On the Bench and it’s not your typical meeting. Think more hangout vibes with a chance to actually share what matters to you.
Where: Synagogue (11 N Latah St)
When: Tuesday, April 21
Time: 6:00 PM
We’re teaming up with Communities for Youth and Vally Regional Transit (VRT) to share quick info on things like:
Free bus rides for teens
Teen-friendly spots around Boise
City resources you can actually use
But honestly? The best part is just showing up.
There’ll be games, prizes, food, and a chance to meet other teens and local leaders without it feeling awkward or formal.
Bring a friend, come hang out, and speak up if you want.
Hope to see you there!

Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting
The Planning and Development Services (PDS) Department is applying to amend Boise City Code – Title 11.
Staff have identified several technical edits that should be processed to ensure that Title 11 of Boise City Code is clear, consistent, and effective in supporting the City’s adopted goals. Many of the proposed edits will correct typos and formatting errors, while others will provide additional clarity to capture the full intent of the code or will improve the
process or strengthen alignment with the City’s goals and policies.
In addition to the technical edits, PDS has prepared a set of proposed policy changes to be considered with this zoning ordinance amendment. The policy topics include:
• Electric vehicle parking requirements
• Bicycle parking
• Junior accessory dwelling units
• Permitting two accessory dwelling units
• Housing incentives
• Airport Influence Area Overlay
If you would like more information about the proposed amendments, the record number ZOA25-00013 and a link to the city’s permitting and licensing applications found here: https://permits.cityofboise.org/CitizenAccess/Default.aspx
Instructions on how to attend and participate can be found online at: www.cityofboise.org/virtual-meetings.
