Walk Bike & Ride Returns for Another Summer of Community Fun
The Walk Bike & Ride program is back for its third year, encouraging Ada County residents to discover safe, active, and enjoyable ways to get around their neighborhoods. Sponsored by ACHD Commuteride, the grant-funded program promotes transportation options such as walking, biking, riding the bus, vanpooling, skating, and more through free community events and activities.
This year's program will focus on the West Bench and Winstead Park neighborhoods, where participants can enjoy neighborhood events, connect with local organizations, and take part in an interactive summer scavenger hunt using the Goosechase app. Residents can also complete a short survey to receive a free "Get Going Kit" filled with helpful resources and community giveaways while supplies last.
Whether you're looking for a new way to explore your neighborhood, reduce car trips, or simply enjoy the outdoors, Walk Bike & Ride offers a fun opportunity to experience everything the Bench has to offer.
